Overview
With almost 10 years' experience combined at Big Four accounting firm PwC, Arj and Eamon became frustrated with how inaccessible and unaffordable high quality, personalised accounting is.
So, together with James and I, we went on a mission to allow common people to have accounting services of the same quality afforded by the wealthiest. The answer was powerful, caring, and empathetic software.
Contributions
I quickly designed a brand that's fitting of the characteristics that we all wanted for Taxd: friendly yet sophisticated, helpful yet honest, trustworthy yet not corporate.
I designed the web app and designed and built the website on Webflow, taking them through several iterations. A few months after launching in October 2021, over 900 Self Assessment tax returns had been submitted through Taxd. And only 5-star reviews.
